Diet Preparation
Diet preparation requires gentle self-discipline. At our retreat, all meals are provided and dietary restrictions are strictly adhered to, but the before and after is up to you. The more you stick to the diet, the more you will benefit from the process. You are fully preparing yourself to accept the greater good that medicinal plants can provide. Diet is more than just food and the physical body. You will be cleaning your energy field.
4 week removal process
- Pork, aged cheeses, fermented products, pickles, smoked, processed and fried
- Mind-altering substances and psychotropic medications, especially antidepressants, tranquilizers, all street drugs, and other entheogens.
- Any other drug that has not been authorized by the interviewers, plus 5htp, tryptophan and St. John's wort.
- Alcoholic and frozen drinks
- Overripe plantains, broad beans and other flat beans, soybeans and soy products
- Products toxic to the body: look for toothpaste, shampoo, etc. alternatives.
- All dairy and red meat
- Hot chili peppers and spicy food
- Nutritional and/or herbal supplements (unless already clarified on your intake call)
- Salt, sugar, caffeine and oils
- Citrus, papaya, nuts, avocado
- Sex or own pleasure

Once the deposit payment has been made, the passenger must send the proof of the deposit to WhatsApp or to our email contacto@amazonexpeditionsperu.com to verify the reservation payment and ensure that we have received the email.
Amazon Expeditions – Peru carefully plans its programs to avoid negative effects on cultural identity, our tours of the Amazon River and tributaries may vary depending on weather conditions and these weather conditions regulate the water level of the rivers, as well as wildlife cycles for the purpose of protecting natural habitat. But we ensure compliance with the route as far as possible.

These are confirmed in advance and with prior payment, depending on availability and season.
For reservations we accept deposit to the bank account of the BBVA Banco Continental company, we also accept all credit and debit cards through (Online Payment).
Payments from abroad have a surcharge of 5% for international transfer tax.
You must make your reservation 30 days in advance.

- Arrive in Iquitos one day before the tour or schedule your arrival flight before 9:00 am
- Bring a refillable bottle of water.

- Light cotton clothing, preferably light colors, avoid black as it attracts mosquitoes.
